Bought these as well as the navy ones. The material for the black is shiny rather than the matt cotton of the navy and the waistband twists a lot more in the black than the navy, maybe because of the material difference however the thickness of the waistband keeps any muffin top at bay. Really long length which I'm happy about. True to size.

Lovely thick, cotton-rich fabric. I ordered a 14 which I found a little tight on the calf and loose around the waist. Also, the indigo dye rubs off onto fabrics and your hands. To rectify this I washed them (inside out) in salt and then a normal was, which seems to have greatly reduced the colour transfer. There was no warning of potential colour transfer.

These leggings are lovely and long and thick and very slimming. I love them so much I bought another pair and my friend also bought a pair. I'm a size 10 and they fit perfectly.
